  • Provide technical database management and administration support to effectively and efficiently manage the personnel security databases.
  • Develop a training plan to teach new and existing staff the day-to-day elements of the new personnel security database. 
  • Design and develop report capabilities, generate reports containing personnel security metrics and other statistical information; and further prepare and present briefings on personnel security database operations, and metrics.
  • Maintain and update the database by continuous day-to-day update of content, and ensuring accurate and adequate security measures are in place to safeguard government and contractor sensitive and priority data. 
  • Prepare and maintain all SOPs and research and prepare policies and procedures for personnel security guidelines and best practices. 
  • Maintain the personnel security files, establishing a system/mechanism and standard operating procedures to file, check-out, track, locate and retrieve expeditiously all security personnel files.  This file maintenance system must also be cross-referenced in the PeopleSoft database.
  • Analyze and review security files and provide security file maintenance support. 
  • Coordinate with database administrators and system engineers to populate the personnel security database for the customer.
  • Use DoD and IC databases; JPAS, DCII, and Scattered Castles.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the continuity of operations for the customer and the security division's architecture and infrastructure.
  • Design report capabilities to maintain and deliver sensitive security metrics and statistics and provide associated briefings. 



  • TS/SCI Clearance;
  • Bachelors Degree;
  • 7-10 years experience, or equivalent, including 3 years within DOD/IC;
  • Additional Knowledge and Skills:
    • Significant experience in a distinct functional or cross-functional security areas (e.g., personnel, physical, industrial security; computer investigations; classification management; operational security; security education, etc.) based on the specific needs of the task. 
    • Experience may be broad based, crossing multiple markets (e.g., government, industry) and may also include relevant and associated certifications and knowledge of applicable tools, methodologies, or best practices. 
    • Experience directing the activities of security specialists as necessary on activities related to the specified field or discipline.
  • Must obtain DoD Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification within 1 year of service start date; currently certified is a plus.
