Responsibilities

  • Conduct technology requirements assessments and inventories.
  • Serve as the focal point for Security IT requirements; prepare documentation to support government procurement of equipment; maintain chain of receipt; conduct physical inventories; and, support space planning for equipment deployed with the customer footprint. 
  • Conduct technology requirement assessments.
  • Prepare reports and briefings.
  • Manages assets assigned to the PeopleSoft Asset Management System (PS AM).  Maintains spreadsheet accountability of assigned assets, and manages the disposition of assets no longer required.
  • At direction of the Program Asset Manager (PAM) reviews Asset Delivery Report (ADR) and submits to the PAM for submission to the SIOL/TAM Support team.
  • At direction of Government POC submits remedy tickets to order various Software applications for approved  users.
  • Assist clients in turning in/disposition of assets that are no longer needed: This includes assets not  listed in PS AM.
  • Assist clients in obtaining AIS Equipment/Media Property Badge. Allows client to carry IT items in and out of the facility.
  • Monitors Blackberry assignments/usage.  Submits monthly report to Government POC, cc Chief and BB POC.
  • Assist Government POC in support of Business Continuity Plan (BCP).  BCP concerns actions in support of a Continuity of Operations (COOP) event.
  • Assist clients in small purchases.  

Qualifications

Required:

  • TS/SCI Clearance;
  • Bachelors Degree;
  • 3-6 years experience, or equivalent, including 2 years within DOD/IC;
  • Additional Knowledge and Skills:
    • Significant experience in a distinct functional or cross-functional security areas (e.g., personnel, physical, industrial security; computer investigations; classification management; operational security; security education, etc.) based on the specific needs of the task. 
    • Experience may be broad based, crossing multiple markets (e.g., government, industry) and may also include relevant and associated certifications and knowledge of applicable tools, methodologies, or best practices. 
    • Experience directing the activities of security specialists as necessary on activities related to the specified field or discipline.
  • Must obtain DoD Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification within 1 year of service start date; currently certified is a plus.
