Overview

Provides human resource administration for the Business Management Division in support of the FEMA National Continuity Programs (NCP) mission to coordinate the implementation of Executive Branch continuity plans and programs and to sustain the continuous performance of National Essential Functions.

Responsibilities

  • Support Human Resource Administration (HRA) Branch in updating management plans
  • Support development, maintenance, and delivery of HRA education and communication deliverables (i.e. Employee Orientation Workshop, Employee Handbook, NCP newsletter)
  • Assist in monitoring, updating and controlling Deployment Rosters, Cascade SOP, NCP Personnel Contact list, and any other related  personnel lists
  • Assist in monitoring, updating, and controlling Human Resources related SOPs
  • Provide HRA project status meeting support, including schedule, agendas and minutes

Qualifications

Required

  • 1-3 years' experience supporting HR administration in the areas of planning, communication, operating procedures and meeting support.
  • Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Emergency management, or continuity of government experience.
