The position of Business Process Engineer is responsible for the effective facilitation, documentation, and continuous improvement of the processes, information, and events for our customers. The Business Process Engineer works closely with our customers, Government and Contractor, to define tasking and priorities.


  • Develop, document and deliver new business processes for all management, development, integration, and operations activities within the program’s area of responsibility. Deliver all processes using the Eagle Ray, Inc.’s process map style guide, or other standard process documentation methodology as directed by the customer.
  • Develop and document related process and programmatic artifacts, including plans, procedures, work instructions, tools, templates.
  • Assist process owners in effectively rolling out new or modified processes, including communication plans, training sessions and incorporating feedback.
  • Observe actual work activities in comparison to established processes. Recommend process improvements, clarifications, or modification to drive consistently outstanding customer performance.
  • Provide general program and organization management support, including Project Management Office support.
  • Establish a process engineering SME role and a professional relationship as trusted advisor to the customer.





The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required for successful performance of the activities associated with this position:

  • Expertise in effective process development and consultation, including:
    • Understanding the goals and objectives of the organizations and individuals involved in the processes
    • Effective information-gathering, through meeting facilitation, one-on-one interactions and/or observations
    • Coordination and consensus building between organizations and individuals participating in or impacted by the business processes 
    • Establish a process engineering SME role and a professional relationship as trusted advisor to the custome
    • Customer-centered approach to all interactions required in support of position activities
  • Strong analysis and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Minimum 3 years of process engineering experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • PMP Certification (desired)
