The Management Analyst will prioritize and document current process flows for key processes to include benchmarking best practices at other agencies, and document recommendations to move The Office of Management Line of Business (LOB) mission. The Management Analyst will prioritize and subsequently develop training guides, job aids and checklists to enable staff to conduct operations in an orderly, economical, efficient and effective manner.


  • Assisting with devising and implementing performance measures and related processes.
  • Business process improvement/reengineering. 
  • Supporting development of plans and procedural documentation in support of executing decisions.  
  • Data analytics and decision support systems. 
  • Providing advice and support in the area of performance management.
  • Problem-solving and the requisite knowledge/skills to provide customized business focused objective advice, expertise and specialist skills to create value and improve business strategy, internal processes and performance. 




  • Currently holds, or is able to obtain, DHS Fitness Determination. 
  • BA/BS required (MA/MS preferred) in a relevant field (e.g., public policy, communications or public affairs, industrial engineering, business and administration, management of information systems, etc.)
  • Min. 7 yrs. experience.    
  • Familiarity with personnel systems like NFC, EmpwHR, FedHR Navigator and various modules within that system (e.g. PD+). 
  • Experience working with tracking systems such as ESTT, and Component Table of Organization. 
  • Experience working with collaboration tools specifically SharePoint. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.




  • Knowledge of NPPD.
