  • Overview

    The SharePoint Analyst works closely with business users, systems administrators and the management team to support the development of program capabilities from the identification of requirements through the deployment of capabilities. This includes maintaining and developing the technical infrastructure; ensuring best practice operational processes are in place and adhered to; providing recommendations on improvements; providing technical analysis on business projects; recommending changes to policy and procedure; and driving efficiencies through optimization and automation. Effectively serving as the onsite technical and functional liaison for SharePoint portal solutions. The SharePoint Analyst will also support process mapping, improvement and documentation, as well as provide indirect support to program Quality Efforts, PMO functions and provide Acquisition support by posting appropriate documents, metrics and reports to the program portal.


    • Provide administrative support, permission and access schemas, and regular maintenance of the ZUSE Information Portal (ZIP) sites to keep them operational and effective.
    • Obtain an understanding of the ZUSE mission and exploit the SharePoint tool to drive team collaboration, communication, and management of workflows and calendars for efficient operation of the program.
    • Review the existing design of the ZIP SharePoint site and recommend improvements to facilitate user friendliness, user intuitiveness, and exploit collaborative features to foster team engagement and communication.
    • Foster positive relationships with leaders, managers, staff and end- users to solicit feedback on the performance and suggested enhancements on the SharePoint site.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and ability to translate technical features and functions to business needs, as required.
    • As directed by the ZUSE PM, develop software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; apply out of the box thinking to derive creative solutions; conferring with stakeholders and client teams (as required); studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions. Implement advanced SharePoint features by developing custom code, as required.
    • Able to document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, page mock-ups, and clear written code.
    • Implement SharePoint-based workflows and development of Business Intelligence dashboards, as required.
    • Support ZUSE PMO and Acquisition support functions as required, by providing process insight, reviewing and posting CDRLS, identifying and as necessary, making process improvements and enhancing communications and collaboration across the ZUSE team and its stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently, demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and support tasks as assigned by the ZUSE PM.
    • Ability to work effectively within a high energy team, and across functional areas to enhance cohesion and collaboration.




    • 11 yrs. of exp. with at least 6 yrs. of exp. in website and SharePoint development.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/ or experience.
    • Active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to pass a CI Poly.
    • Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications.
    • Proficiency in HTML, XSLT, SharePoint 2010/2013 and SharePoint Designer 2010/2013.
    • Basic comprehension of .ASP, JavaScript and XML.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong computer skills with high-level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Project).
