Overview

Eagle Ray is hiring a Program Manager to work with the Asset Project Office (APO) in support of the Coast Guard (CG) surface acquisition programs by developing and reviewing logistics products and preparing for the introduction of new surface Product Lines (PLs) and systems. In addition to logistical support, the APO provides systems engineering and integration, business process support, and decisions analysis. 
Eagle Ray will provide logistics products in support of Maintenance Planning, Product & Technical Data, Supply Support (SS), Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T), Design Interface, and Support & Test Equipment (S&TE) requirements for the Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC).

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing logistics operations, policies, procedures and/or processes to ensure program effectiveness and to monitor compliance of programs supported.
  • Evaluating, through field inspections and surveys, the performance of agency logistics programs in order to determine system and procedural deficiencies and develop improvements.
  • Conducting studies, evaluations, and analyses of the various Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program elements, such as supply support, manpower, maintenance and reliability planning, transportation, storage, technical data management and configuration management, to ensure they are aligned with the mission of the APO and the Coast Guard for all surface assets.
  • Developing and implementing program plans and recommendations based on analyses; to include project proposals, budget submission, resource requirements, and related documentation.
  • Providing advice, assistance, and consultation to managers and staff regarding logistics policies and procedures and the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program.

Qualifications

Required:

  • MA/MS or equivalent
  • 10+ years experience
  • Public Trust
  • Experience working with high visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.  
  • Experience overseeing the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
  • Direct logistics management experience.
  • Understanding of USCG policy and procedures.

 

 

Desired:

  • PMP
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer, direct report and stakeholders.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
